The world seems rather (read: very) unwell lately. People are dealing with financial stress, aging parents, relationship challenges, and so much more, all set against the backdrop of our current geopolitical climate. It’s no wonder people are struggling.
So often when times get hard, we ourselves get even harder. More critical, more rigid, more pushy. What if instead of adding to our pile of stressors, we tried to gift ourself softness instead? While self-compassion can’t fix all of our problems, it can help us navigate challenges with more ease and grace.
