Hi, I'm Naomi.

Do you often feel in-between, not belonging to any one side? Do you feel stuck between others’ expectations and your own desires? Do you fantasize about living the life YOU want to live, but get held back by the guilt and shame from disappointing others? If you feel like you’ve lost sight of yourself and want to reconnect with who you truly are, I’m here to help.

Therapy is a collaborative process between real people. I offer a safe place for you to explore, express, and experiment so that you can be more effective in your own life. I support clients in developing a stronger relationship with themselves and learning how to build a meaningful life outside of traditional expectations. We will use creative approaches that address you as a whole person, draw on your strengths, and consider the larger influences in your life (family, systems, culture, trauma) and where you fit in.

As the daughter of Taiwanese immigrants, I’ve learned to navigate between multiple worlds. Growing up in the Bay Area, I often felt the tension between following a prescribed path and pursuing what felt right for me. Over time, I have learned to lean into the in-between as a strength, bringing exploration, adventure, and empathy. Having been in practice for over a decade, I bring these traits and experiences into the therapy room. I look forward to meeting your authentic self, too.

I speak conversational Mandarin. I am LGBTQ+ and neurodiversity affirming. I am also sex-positive, kink-friendly, and work with clients participating in ethical non-monogamy. I practice through a Buddhist and liberation-oriented lens, meaning that I hope all beings can be free of suffering and oppression. Individual healing is collective healing and we’re all in this together.
