Individual Therapy

My perspective is that we all exist as part of greater systems, whether it is your family, your community, or more.  However, we cannot control others, we can only control ourselves.  Individual therapy can be the first step in getting help to take back control of your life. 

The first few sessions will be focused on what brought you to therapy, getting to know each other, and figuring out your goals for treatment.  Based on what we discuss, I will highlight some areas that I believe will be beneficial for us to address.  Each session after that will be tailored to meet your individual needs, both the overarching goals and topics that may come up from week to week.  We will work together to decide on frequency and timeframe.  Therapy can be time-limited or an ongoing process with regular check-ins to assess how you are feeling about your progress. 

Individual sessions are 50 minutes.  Longer sessions are available by request.  I currently am taking adult and teen individual clients.
