Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a place where you can reconnect with yourself, understand the systems you are a part of, and create meaningful change. While we cannot control or change others, starting therapy can be the first step in taking back control of your life.
While I take a structured and directive approach, I only offer invitations, not commands. The first few sessions will be focused on getting to know each other and figuring out your goals. Each session after that will be tailored to meet your individual needs, including both the overarching goals as well as topics that may come up from week to week. I offer reflection questions and exercises for you to practice in-between sessions to reinforce your learning.
Every 6 months or so, we will review your treatment plan together to celebrate progress, update goals, and make sure that we’re on the right track.
Individual sessions are 50 minutes. Frequency and length of therapy is decided together. Therapy can be time-limited or an ongoing process with regular check-ins to assess how you are feeling about your progress. Read more at the FAQ.
