Art therapy is a way to explore and express yourself beyond words. It is rooted in the idea of creativity as a form of self-expression that can be healing in and of itself. My job as your art therapist is not to interpret your artwork and tell you what to see, but to guide you through the creative process. We will focus on authentic expression, not making something "good" or "pretty". Art is a powerful way to explore issues that may be hard to put words to. It can also be a great way to reconnect with yourself and access your unconscious world.

No previous art experience is required. Art therapy is always an option, even if you initially only requested talk therapy. We can discuss what art supplies are available to you so that we can shape each activity to your needs. There is no difference in fee for talk and art therapy.
